HOP50+ Hove

A return to this wonderful local initiative which provides space, friendship and activities for the over 50's in Hove. In March we all had a great time and we'll aim to get them laughing and rocking along again.

The Blind Veterans

Ovingdean

Just for the residents. A welcome return for us to one of our favourite venues. We'll dedicate this one to Emma, organiser extraordinaire, as it co-incides with her birthday.

The TOM Coffee morning!

The Grove Theatre, Grove Road, Eastbourne. BN21 4TL

Pop by, very relaxed, no tickets needed. We are really happy to be in at the beginning of the revival of this theatre. The new management are enthusiastic and enterprising and trying all sorts of ways to get the place settled into the community again. We'll be playing on a Saturday morning when a new event is taking place - a coffee morning! It's open for a couple of hours and we will play 2x45 minutes sets. It sounds nicely informal and formative so come share the joy and support the theatre too.

Depot Live Brunch

Depot, Pinfold Street, Lewes

Sunday brunch live is a weekly Sunday feature at this wonderful cinema venue. Relax, eat, drink and listen - maybe a film to follow?

Blind Veterans UK

Saltdean

We are proud to be performing for this great organisation and the residents in what should be a great experience for everyone.

Commemoration Event

Piddinghoe Village Hall

Colin is performing several songs as part of the village commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the end of WW1.

Zoe's Halloween Party!

Time for a spooky song or two...

Guesthouse Storytellers

Hillcrest Centre, Newhaven

A first tryout with a 10 minute storytelling slot on the theme of 'From the Graveyard' i.e. an early Halloween, with a new creepy song or story.

The Newhaven Fish Festival

Newhaven Harbour

This annual event is for all the family and isn't just about fish. There are rides and stalls and lots happening, including tours of the lifeboat... and yes, inevitably, fish sales and cooking demonstrations and other food. We are playing as part of a community benefit.

The Anniversary Show

Bom-Banes, 24 George St, Brighton BN2 1RH, UK, Brighton

Be sociable and spend £15, which includes a 2 course meal or just pay £5 entry. Drinks/snacks available at interval. Our 1st Anniversary show at Jane Bom-Banes. Such a lovely, cosy atmosphere. A new set of songs, so last year's audience can come again but frankly most of you had had a glass or two so probably wouldn't notice anyway - a great crowd, especially my tennis family. BOOKING THROUGH JANE BB ONLY PLEASE - and she'll tell you about menu and times etc. (The show will start at 8 but foodies need to come earlier... ask Jane). ALL BOOKINGS (meal + entry OR entry only): 01273 606400 or janebombane@yahoo.co.uk
